Without losing an ounce of its medical or traditional benefits, this core class introduces you to the essence of Tai Chi. In two hours, you will learn key movements inherited directly through Tai Chi lineage. This beautiful art incorporates Chinese medical principles in a way that allows the player to actually enhance their health just by performing simple moves in a structured way. Its benefits are too many to list, but players have reported improvement in digestion, sleep, flexibility, arthritic range of motion, energy levels, stability, blood pressure and headache reduction.
Whether or not you continue your practice, this ‘taste’ of Tai Chi will get you moving in the Tai Chi way.
This two hour session is an excellent orientation for the 3 month class which begins on September 7.

Ted is director of the Academy. For almost 50 years, he has been teaching, studying, writing about, exploring, and admiring Tai Chi Chuan. He is passionate about teaching others to experience Tai Chi.
Narrye has been practicing traditional Chinese medicine for over 25 years. She has also studied Tai Chi for more than 20 years, as well as taught it at Five Branches University as a crucial part of the curriculum, since Tai Chi and Chinese health practice are symbiotic.
